The She Hub Ghana has facilitated and implemented many skills development and training projects across Ghana. Some of these include

MASTERCARD YOUNG AFRICA WORKS (YAW)

we have partnered the Ghana Enterprises Agency to implement the Young Africa Works (YAW) Project across the sixteen regions of Ghana. The programme seeks to empower over 39,000 youth across the country. The Young Africa Works (YAW) project is an entrepreneurship development and employment program targeted at young people in Ghana. The MasterCard Foundation in partnership with National Board for Small Scale Industries (NBSSI) is mandated to implement this – year program under its youth Entrepreneurship and Employment program (YEEP).
The partnership, seeks to unlock opportunities and create access to dignified work for 39, 000 young men and women in Ghana through the following interventions:
• Apprenticeship to Entrepreneurship program (A2E) is aimed at training young supporting 12,000 unskilled youth to launch their business through Apprenticeship to Entrepreneurship (A2E)

• MSME Business Acceleration which is aimed at fast tracking the growth and productivity of MSMEs with a strong focus on women-owned and led enterprises. This project will address barriers relating to networking, access to market and access to PROJECTS IMPLEMENTED BY THE SHEHUB GHANA finance support 2,000 MSMEs to achieve growth and sustainability.

• Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship with is aimed at transforming young men and women into successful entrepreneurs. Beneficiaries will be trained and supported to become innovative and creative entrepreneurs

GIZ/NBSSI EMPLOYMENT AND MIGRATION PROGRAMME FOR SUSTAINABLE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT (PSED)

The project had a mandate to train Eight Thousand (8,000) MSMEs, Returnees and Potential migrants in Entrepreneurship and Financial Literacy in Ghana. The She Hub Ghana collaborated with NBSSI to implement this project. Under this project, 4,800 Returnees, Potential Migrants and MMSEs were trained Ashanti, Brong Ahafo and Greater Accra Regions.

ENTREPRENEURIAL & ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT FOR WOMEN

The training activities equips skilled workers (women) such as dressmakers, hairdressers and beauticians as well as other women entrepreneurs who are into purchase and supplies with needed business management skills. The women are also educated on what to look out for before working with a financial institution. The project also educates beneficiaries on the types of financial institutions in their jurisdictions and how best to select a financial institution that would suit their businesses.

ACCESS TO MENTORING AND COACHING

We expose clients to like-minded successful entrepreneurs who had been through similar experiences and have survived to serve as mentors and motivation. These mentors guide our beneficiaries on best practices to ensure their businesses grow on sustainable basis. At SheHub, we neither judge nor make beneficiaries feel bad. Our business coaching is done using our BDS system as indicated above
